Inspection First
Every garment is reviewed before scope and timing are confirmed. That helps set realistic expectations for fit, construction, and the work needed to complete the alteration or repair properly.
Everyday alterations and repairs for clothing that needs a better fit or a careful fix.
Alteration Atelier works on the clothing people wear most often, from simple hemming to seam, lining, and zipper repairs. Each garment is assessed before any quote is confirmed, so the work stays clear, practical, and suited to the fabric and construction.
We serve local residents, working professionals, and families across Hong Kong with a workshop process that values careful inspection, approval before additional work, and a clean finish at collection.

Clear communication and careful workmanship guide each stage of the alteration process.
Every garment is reviewed before scope and timing are confirmed. That helps set realistic expectations for fit, construction, and the work needed to complete the alteration or repair properly.
We handle hems, waist adjustments, sleeve changes, zipper replacement, and seam or lining repairs with a focus on the garment's condition and the limits of the original construction.
If replacement materials are needed, they are quoted separately after availability is checked. We do not assume an exact match until the materials have been reviewed.
Final collection includes a fit review so the garment can be checked again before it leaves the workshop. Small follow-up adjustments are handled carefully within the agreed design.
A practical approach shaped by inspection, fitting, and careful garment handling.
The workshop began with a focus on everyday garments that need reliable adjustment rather than major redesign. From the start, the aim has been to make common alterations straightforward and well explained.
Over time, the service has grown around practical repairs and fit changes that help clothing stay useful for longer. Work is confirmed after inspection, and any additional steps are handled only with approval.
Today, the workshop continues to support customers who want hems corrected, seams repaired, or worn details replaced with care. The process stays simple, with attention to fit, condition, and finish at every stage.
