Everyday Alterations and Repairs
Alteration Atelier handles everyday clothing alterations and repairs for local residents, working professionals, and families across Hong Kong. Common requests include trouser and skirt hemming, sleeve-length adjustment, waist and side-seam adjustment, zipper replacement, and seam and lining repair.
Every garment is checked in the workshop so the scope can be confirmed properly. Pricing is based on labour after inspection, and replacement fasteners or matching materials are quoted separately when needed and available.
Clear assessment before any quote
From small fixes to fit adjustments, each garment is reviewed for construction, fabric, and repair limits before work is confirmed.
We do not promise an exact fit before the garment has been assessed, because seam allowances, garment construction, and fabric condition affect the result. If additional work is needed, it is only carried out after approval.
Finished items are checked again at collection, and any final review stays within the agreed design. Care and pressing notes can be shared so the garment is handled correctly after pickup.
